We’re now recruiting a Supervisor to join our team in Abergavenny.

Role Responsibility

As a Supervisor, you will be working on the assessment, planning and delivery of Repair & Maintenance works on the wastewater network in South Wales.

On a day to day basis, the successful Supervisor’s duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Liaise with Griffiths Streetworks Team to ensure all statutory notices are submitted and closed down
  • Supervise all R&M  Teams in the area  ensuring all work is delivered safely, compliantly, efficiently and in accordance with legislation/industry and company standards.
  • Liaise daily with clients including the Highway Authorities, Police and local authorities if/when required.
  • Liaise with Traffic Management provider to ensure correct TM is planned and implemented
  •  ensure every job complies to contractual clearance timescales.
  • Audit each team as and when ensuring all operatives comply to the quality and safety standards via Auditing Apps (GEM and Workforms)
  • Delivering tool box talks / safety talks ensuring each task is carried out to a safe method of working.
  • Ensure a point of work risk assessment is completed on each job/project, so a safe method of working is achieved.
  • Order all materials



The Ideal Candidate

It is essential that any candidates have a sound knowledge of Microsoft packages and in particular, Excel.

In an ideal world, we would like any prospective candidates to have any of the following:

  • CSCS Supervisor Card
  • Streetworks Supervisor
  • Temporary Works Supervisor

Furthermore, having previous experience of supervising multiple crews engaged on civils maintenance work would be ideal.
